HardDrive Radio - Video Content Production Manager

In June of 2019, I was hired by United Stations Radio Networks to fulfill the role of Video Content Production Manager. While here, I managed a multitude of digital outlets, producing and strategizing content development on a weekly basis. The main outlet I managed within this group was HardDrive Radio, America’s longest running new hard rock program.

My main goal for HardDrive Radio while in this role was to develop a content plan to reach a new audience of listeners via social media. Therefore, I developed and produced new content that followed the current trends seen on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok. This digestible short-form video content resulted in an increase of followers and engagement across all of the show’s social media platforms.

My strategy for this success was to simply translate static promotional materials into highly engaging short-form videos. These materials included weekly guests, new releases, featured artists and much more. For full-length content on YouTube, the strategy there was to produce highly engaging “snippets” that would serve as a teaser, and give people a direct pathway to the full-length content. These methods garnered a younger audience and helped build a new consistent fan base.
